- Synopsis Design and Construction for ANA Delaram Garrison, Nimroz Province Afghanistan The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Afghanistan District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the de sign/construction of a 2000 man Installation located approximately 2 Km from City of Delaram, Nimroz Province, Afghanistan. Approximate coordinates are: 63o2640.6 E 32o922.2 N 63o2655.7 E 32o922.8 N 63o2655.7 E 32o98.4 N 63o263 8.9 E 32o96.6 N The contractor shall perform work to consist of topographic survey, installation master planning, design and construction of a new Afghan army garrison with various buildings and facilities for hosting approximate 2000 soldiers, power plant and electrical distribution system, raw water sources and water distribution system, waste water treatment plants and sanitary sewer system, access road and road network on new base, construction of perimeter fencing IAW AT/FP measures, landsc aping, and ground water runoff drainage system. Oversight of the Engineer/QAR will be coordinated with the closest AED Resident office. The award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. The applicable NAICS code is 236220. The contractor shall furnish his own labor, materials and equipment to accomplish the requirements. The estimated value of the contract is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. The proposed contract will be awarded using best value. Solicitation Number W917PM-08-R-0041 will be available on or about 25 March 2008. Interested parties are advised to submit their proposal 30 days after issuance of the RFP.
