- Description
- Franklin County WRP Tree Planting Project located in Franklin County, Illinois. Project consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, supplies, materials and incidentals necessary to plant mixed upland and bottomland sites on one WRP easement located in Franklin County, Illinois as follows: Site #1: 551.2 acres; Site #2: 501.5 acres; and Site #3: 701.8 acres Sites shall each require a mowing and shall be planted with 435 bare-root seedlings per acre. The Government anticipates making up to three separate contract awards. A site showing for all projects will be held Wednesday, February 13th, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. local time at the Benton NRCS Field Office located at 711 N. DuQuoin Street, Benton, IL. After a brief meeting concerning the bidding process and contract requirements, the group will be given a general tour of the planting sites. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 11, 2008 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and a limited number of copies will be available at the site showing. Any changes to the solicitation will be made only at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check this web address for any posted changes to this solicitation. This solicitation is a small business set-aside. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-JAN-2008).
