- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award on a sole source basis via a modification to existing contract N00024-07-C-6311 one Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ITT-CCS Corporation, 3500 Willow lane, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361. The period of performance will not exceed 30 September 2008. The SME will assist with engineering, assessments, comparative tests, analysis and integration services required to improve the capability and interoperability of Joint Counter-Radio Controlled Explosives Warfare (JCREW) 2.1 CVRJ and overall performance of the system. JCREW 2.1 CVRJ SMEs are individuals who exhibit the highest level of expertise in performing engineering, assessing, testing, and analyzing the JCREW 2.1 CVRJ systems in theater. The place of performance for this requirement is OCONUS. The SME must understand the nature of current and emerging threats and how to best optimize the JCREW 2.1 CVRJ and help in coordinating with stateside loadset development organizations. Since ITT Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) of the JCREW 2.1 CVRJ systems, they are the only vendor capable of supplying this SME. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work describe herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Government?s requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334511. This requirement will be awarded on a firm, fixed priced basis. Solicitation number N00024-08-R-6319 will be issued on or around late 2ND QTR of Government?s Fiscal Year (GFY) 2008, and award will be made early third quarter of the GFY 2008.
