- Description
- This item is for an annual contract for "on-call" basis of repair of Navy crew living barges at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Me. 03906. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of maintenance services of industrial types of kitchen equipment such as dishwasher, toaster, ovens, etc. Prospective contractor must be within a 50 mile radias of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. Vendor must qualify for access to a Naval Installation and be escorted to the barge that is moored dockside near the crew's submarine. If interested in quoting, please email the buyer listed. A compelete work description will be furnished upon request. This contract is for a 12 month period with two option years. Evaluation of quotes will be evaluated by hourly labor rates, including travel rates, & portal to portal rates. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This announcement is issued as request for quot ation N0018908RC80231. The standard NAICS classification is 811412. The FSC is J072. Only certified electrician can apply that is certified in the State of Maine or NH. Response time for call back is four hours and on site within 24 hours. This quotation incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-2 with changes effective April 5, 2004. The DFARS is current as of March 23, 2004 and inclusive of DCN20040323 (cases 2002-D041, 2003-D097, and 2002-D036) published March 23, 2004, effective March 23, 2004. Pricing shall be FOB Destination (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME, 03904.) The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are requested to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 and 252-212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with quotations. The following clauses/provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (including 52.222-21, 52.222-22, 52.222-25, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.2 22-36, 52.222-37 and 52.225-3).
