- Description
- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed-price contract to Morningstar U.S.A. This sole source contract is for an internet-based service that provides access to detailed information on hedge funds. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Morningstar U.S.A. is the only firm currently mobilized to deliver required data from the Altvest database in the PerTrac format. The period of performance shall be one year from date of award. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement, which may or may not be considered by the SEC. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
