- Description
- The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is seeking sources who can meet an immediate need for a residential training facility in the Dallas, TX area. Sources must be able to provide lodging, meals, equipment and services to meet USCIS training needs for 6-week classes beginning each week during the period of June through November 3, 2008. Facilities must be capable of providing overnight individual private lodging accommodations for adult learners; provide on-site dining facility and break services while courses are in session; one classroom that can accommodate up to 48 students per training session(s), additional space for breakout rooms, instructor office space; business services (i.e. photocopier, fax machine, postage, overnight package delivery); auditorium space for graduation or large training sessions (up to 250 person capacity); recreational facilities (i.e. exercise room and common gathering area such as a lounge) and technological capabilities to include high speed internet access in all classrooms and lodging facilities, including bedrooms and common areas and digital audio-video equipment in classrooms to include a projector and large screen. Lodging accommodations shall be single occupancy with single occupancy bathrooms; furnishings shall include bed, dresser, writing desk, ergonomic chair for use at the desk, work lamp, private telephone, blow dryers, towels, personal sundries and television. Facilities must be located within 30 miles of the Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport. USCIS intends on awarding single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), fixed unit price (per student training day) type contract or contracts. USCIS estimates a maximum of 44,000 student training days may be utilized during the entire contract performance period. This requirement will be procured utilizing FAR Part 12, Commercial Items (Services) and FAR Part 15. The solicitation, which will contain the Statement of Work and evaluation factors, will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps.gov) Website on February 07, 2008.
