Description
The purpose of this amendment is to address the questions/answers below. 1.What is the warranty period you wish provided with the units? Industry standard 2.Do you require onsite service for the warranty or just parts replaced? I want the service contract to include onsite service and parts. 3.Do you have a specific manufacturer or model # in mind, and what is the manufacturer/model? Not really, but Ricoh's have worked well for us. 4.What is the projected delivery date you with to receive the product? 30 days from award. 5.Do you have existing units you are replacing the new units with and do you require them to be removed? Two of them are replacing old copiers. If a discount is available or could have the old models removed that would be good. 6.Regarding the question above, are you expecting some sort of credit for the removed copiers? Not expecting it but it would be nice. 7.Would you accept refurbished units if the warranty period was the same, as refurbished units are usually more cost-effective purchases? No. 8.Would you accept a 1%/15 calendar day prompt payment discount? Yes. 9.The RFQ specifies the 45 pages per minute unit have a 100-sheet document feeder. Would a 45 page per minute unit equipped with a 50 sheet document feeder and batch function be acceptable for the quote? The batch function is a feature that will allow the user to feed multiple sets of originals in excess of 50 sheets of paper into one completed document. Yes. 10.The RFQ specifies that each unit be equipped with a 3,000-sheet paper capacity. Would a 2,700-sheet large paper capacity be acceptable? Yes. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-MAR-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
