- Description
- I. Purpose: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Logistics Service Area is seeking competent and qualified contractors for Removal, Packing and Shipping of an Engine Generator from Spokane Terminal Radar Approach Control Facility located in Spokane, WA to Seattle Air Route Surveillance Radar Facility located in Seattle, WA. This project is set-aside exclusively for competition amongst Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses/8(a) as certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA). SEDB/8(a) companies will be in good standing with the SBA and must provide 8(a) certification document with proposal. II. Scope of Project: This project includes, but is not limited to: The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials for removal, packing and shipment of the decommissioned Spokane Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility 200KW, 120/208V, 3 phases diesel power Engine Generator System (EG) to Seattle Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) facility and installation at the facility. Removal and packing of the existing 100KW, 120/208V, 3 phases diesel power EG system at Seattle ARSR for FAA to ship to another destination. All work must be coordinated in order to maintain an operational facility. The total contract duration for completion of the work shall be 90 calendar days. Estimated contract price is from $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238210. III.
