- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00244-08-R-0044. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-23 and DFARS Change Notice 20080124. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm . The NAICS code is 333415 and the Small Business Standard is 500. This is a competitive, unrestricted action. The Navy, Fleet Industrial Supply Command, Seal Beach - Detachment intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Ordering Agreement for one Base Period ending Sep 2008 and Four ? One Year Options to a single contractor and requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: Delivery of HVAC Non-Hazardous Air Condition filters for Naval Air Station Lemoore, California 93245 (see attachment #1 for listing of filters) under individual oral orders. Orders need to be in pallets and shrink wrapped when delivered. Approximate total filters per pallet is 120 air filters and estimated delivered pallets per month is 23 pallets. Filter types ? Fiberglass filters cut to size with cardboard frames, reinforced 40% pleated, 60% high efficiency filters, 85% high efficiency bag filters and paint arrestor filters. Supplier will: make deliveries at 3 lo cations on the air station, maintain an inventory management filter lo g for each of the three buildings, package filters and mark or label each box with the building number, all deliveries will be 100% complete at time of drop, window time for deliveries is 9 ? 11 AM and 12:30 ? 2:30 PM, must notify customer prior to delivery with 24 hour call for estimated time of deliveries and provide a completed invoice of order with every drop. [Period of performance] is estimated to start 1 May 2008 ? 30 September 2008 plus four one year options. Delivery is required within 30 days of verbal order. Items shall be shipped FOB Destination, Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a combination of factors - a combination of price and ability to meet delivery terms. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms.
