Description

The Government intends to award multiple five-year firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contracts for procurement of the following services: acoustic emission or hydrostatic testing, trailer conversion, installation of pressure gauges, and/or trailer refurbishment of various Government-owned compressed gas tube bank trailers. Type of trailer, required services, and Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for the five year period of performance are as follows: For testing: 7 tube: 6 each; 10 tube: 8 each; 11 tube: 8 each; 12 tube: 3 each; 38 tube: 56 each. For refurbishment: Various trailer types: 83 each. For trailer conversion/cleaning: 10 each. For installation of Duraguage: 21 each. Period of performance is from 1 Aug 2008 through 30 Jul 2013. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 28 Mar 08 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/).
