- NSN: 6340-01-341-5332, Sensing Element, issue to establish a Firm Fix Price contract. Approved sources are Kidde Technologies, cage 05BU0, part number 05BU0-400041 and Lockheed Martin, cage 98897, part number 4L97556-101A. The required quantity is 66 each. This part is use on the C-5 Galaxy aircraft and TF-33-P-7 & TF39-GE-1 aircraft engines. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This is a Life-A-Type unrestricted procurement with a 100% option. Delivery: 144 days ARO or best available. FOB is at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination will be required. This is a Critical Application item and Configuration Control applies. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The anticipated solicitation issue date is March 27, 2008 and the anticipated closing date is April 25, 2008. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https:// www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
