- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the installation of a keyless entry system at its Center for Management and Executive Leadership located in Palm Coast Florida. The requirement includes all materials, labor, service and subsequent training needed for the installation and operation of a complete keyless entry system. Included in the requirement is a Control Panel, Locksets, Software, Wire, Cable, Distribution Panel, and other material as needed for a complete fully integrated operational system. System maintenance. Preventative maintenance and ongoing monitoring of the system will also be required. There is a mandatory source associated with the above requirement. In accordance with FAA Order 1600.69B, all locking systems for FAA facilities must be equipped with a standard locking system and brand to facilitate continuity of security agency wide. The equipment will be used to secure all doors, windows and other openings to the facility. The Best Universal Lock Company, Inc., is the only authorized locking system for all FAA facilities. The only known source for the Best Universal Locks are through Stanley Security Solutions. It is our intention to award the contract for the keyless entry system to Stanley Security Solutions, Inc., Best Access Systems Division. To receive consideration as a possible source, any other interested parties must provide in writing their ability to provide the mandatory equipment for this job. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA.
