- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to purchase aerosol resistant pipettes and tips using sole source authority from Rainin, Box 4026, Rainin Road, Woburn, MA. Rainin is the sole vendor that manufactures these pipettes and tips that specifically fit corresponding Rainin tips. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contr act will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this Notice. Any response to this Notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be executed without further notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract price based on this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the followi ng e-mail address no later than 4:00 p.m. EST 28 March 2008: robyn.warden@amedd.army.mil.
