Description

This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 28, 2008 with a proposal opening date of approximately 30 days following issuance. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Construct New Wharf Deck for Pedrick Store House, Salem Maritime National Historical Site, Salem Massachusetts. Solicitation Number N1900080006. The work to be executed under this contract is the construction of a 14 foot by 72 foot timber framed deck. Framing material for the deck is to be pressure treated southern yellow pine with white oak decking. Deck is to be framed over the Derby Wharf using driven pilings already in place and terminate just beyond the existing head wall. Part of the work will entail fabricating and installing custom fastener hardware to be used to secure framing members to the pilings. This acquisition is set-aside for participants within the Small Business Administrations 8(a) program. The NAICS code for this project is 236220with a small business size standard of $31 million. The contract performance period is 90 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR Section 36.204, the estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
