Description

This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about Friday, March 28, 2008. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide maintenance and testing services to the fire and intrusion alarms systems located at Boston National Historical Park along with the systems located at Boston African American National Historic Site in Boston, MA. Work will involve service calls (scheduled and unscheduled), routine maintenance and testing for fire and intrusion systems as well as portable fire extinguishers located in 21 buildings throughout Boston, MA. The National Park Service intends to issue a contract with a base period and 4 option years. The performance period for the base period will be 05/01/2008- 04/30/2009. The NAICS code being used for this project is 561621 with a size standard of $11,500,000.00. This solicitation is subject to Full and Open Competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. All quotes must be submitted by April 28, 2008. PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This acquisition will be performed as a written Request for Quotes using Commercial Item (FAR part 12) and Simplified Acquisition (FAR part 13) procedures.
