- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for non-personal commercial services to perform initial and refresher academic and simulator training for E4-B (747-200/300) pilots and flight engineers. Training shall be conducted at an Offeror's fully equipped training facility that provides a safe and professional training environment. When requested, the contractor shall provide simulator time on an hourly basis as well as simulator fill in positions for the pilot/ flight engineer position. The base period of performance is 1 October 2008 - 30 September 2009, with four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 611512 and the small business size standard in $23.5M. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), using Mission Capability, Past Performance, Proposal Risk, and Price as evaluation factors to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The solicitation will be issued on or around 15 February 2008 and will be available via this website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendment packages. No paper copies will be furnished and no bidders list will be maintained. To be eligible for award, Offerors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. A site visit, to include a 30 minute simulator flight and tour of the training facility, shall be conducted by each Offeror within 30 days of Government receipt of proposals. Specific date and times will me scheduled once proposal are received by the Government. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-FEB-2008).
