- Description
- The Department of Veterans Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Network (VISN 6) Central Acquisition Service intends to negotiate a sole source follow-on contract with Ektron, Inc. for support of the CMS400.NET content and document platform for the VISN 6 Intranet. NAICS code 541511 is applicable to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for a Senior Developer to perform general support with regards to CMS400.NET refinement, augmentation, and debugging of the VISN 6 Intranet site. CMS400.NET is proprietary to Ektron, Inc. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must supply information about their capabilities no later than March 24, 2008, 4:30 p.m. (est). All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is April 1, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written inquiries only.
