- Description
- The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Rockwell Automation. The contractor shall provide services to repair, maintain, calibrate, and provide factory exchanges of the electronic control and electrical equipment used on several test facilities. It is essential that these replacement parts perform exactly as the original units. Rockwell Automation also has proprietary information required to service and maintain this equipment. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
