- The Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST) Contracting Office, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Specialty Motors MFG LLC, 641 California Way, Longview WA 98632 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is to purchase one outboard motor test tank capable of holding six outboard motors at one time and one 4-wheeled lift with boom and OB forks. Test tank will have a self contained oil/water separator recycling system, blower kit, folding step, and two hydraulic cylinder lifts. Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 2:00 PM EDT, 20 March 2008, via facsimile or email. Solicitation M6700108Q0078.
