- Description
- The purpose of the modification is to change the response date. The solicitation will be made available on February 12, 2008. The Headquarters complex (HQC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) intends to issue a solicitation for Elevator Maintenance/Repair Services in accordance with FAR Subpart 15.3. Services will include management, tools, supplies, parts, material, equipment, subcontractors, and labor necessary to maintain, repair, test or modify the elevators at Andrew T. McNamara Building Headquarters Complex (HQC) 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Building 2462, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6220, including the new Defense Threat Reduction Center (DTRC) addition to the complex, in a manner that will ensure continuous, reliable, and safe operation. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform all the requirements in the Performance Based Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall be capable of accepting delivery orders such as refurbishing of elevator cabs, modifying elevator controllers as it pertains to the addition of component or as required. This contract shall include a full-time elevator repair person during normal duty hours. Only bids for items that are equal to the specifications referred to in the SOW will be accepted. Solicitation Number SP4705-08-R-0003. The NAICS code 238290 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is $12 million, SIC 2359M. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed priced contract with a base year and four (4) one-year options. Base Year Period of Performance will be from 1 May 2008 through 30 April 2009. The anticipated date of award is 21 April 2008. Please submit all questions in writing to the above referenced electronic address by 15 February 2008. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All firms wishing to submit a proposal subsequent to the solicitation described herein MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database as well as the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database or risk their otherwise-timely proposal being considered non-responsive regardless of its completeness, timeliness or other salient considerations.
