Description

The Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to issue a solicitation for an firm fixed price commercial item requirement for MEP Survey Support Projects in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about March 25, 2008 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be SB1341-08-RP-0025. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for release of the RFQ and all subsequent amendments. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541910 with a size standard of $6.5M. The scope of work includes providing support that encompasses the following tasks: consolidation and storage of data records for survey, continuous improvement on the data confirmation process for MEP Centers, preparation of survey cover letters and activity lists, mailing of pre-survey package to respondents, and final preparation of project records for survey interviewers.
