Description
DESC: The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric and Administration (NOAA), and Southeast Office for Law Enforcement intend to procure services for two climate controlled (1) 10x20 and (1) 8x8 storage units for a base period and 4 option years from Budget Self Storage in St. Petersburg, FL. The two units that are currently being unutilized to store (1) historical Enforcement case file archives, (2) excess computer and office equipment for donation and disposal, (3) SE Region and Enforcement spare parts for modular cubicles, and (4) Voluntary Compliance Program outreach materials and display equipment. The historical case files require shelving and storage bins which were initially installed by the government. For the government to tear down and rebuilding of the shelving would take considerable time and labor to accomplish. The intended procurement is for services for which the Government intends to acquire from one source under the authority of 41USC253 (c) (1). Interested firms should submit in writing, their name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding their capability and qualifications to provide this service. Interested firms need to provide information regarding the cost to move contents; location of facility; description of ?climate control? and installation of shelving and storage bins for files. This is an added expense that the Government shall take into consideration in determining a best value. The tear down and rebuilding of the shelving requires several days to complete.
