Description
As a result of Request for Information, reference number H92222-08-WaterUAS posted Nov 08, 2007; the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) using full and open competition for an All Environment Capable Variant (AECV), Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS). A Draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) and a Draft System Requirement Document (SRD) is attached hereto to provide potential offerors the technical AECV SUAS requirements. A formal Request for Proposal H92222-08-R-0019 is anticipated to be issued under FEDBIZOPS on or about 29 February 2008 with proposals due on or about 31 March 2008. Oral presentations will be conducted the first part of April 2008 and a fly off/testing after determination of competitive range in May 2008. A contract award is anticipated on about 29 June 2008. The Government anticipates award of a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract consisting of a base contract and four option year periods with firm-fixed and cost type contract structures. The contract minimum will be $5,000,000 and the contract maximum is $200,000,000. The scope of the contract will consist of new systems and sub-systems, initial spares packages, user and maintenance training, sustaining engineering, and spiral development and retrofits. All requesting companies must be registered in Central Contract Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov/ and have current data posted on ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov.
