- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra-Nevada Regional Office (SNR) requires TeleAtlas North America (TANA) Street Data Model software licenses and maintenance agreements. This is a Brand Name Specific requirement - IAW Far Part 6.303-2 (Section 4202 of the Clinger cohen Act of 1996) - only one responsible source and no other supplies/services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a folow-on procurement. The existence of limited rights in data, patent rights, copyrights, or secret processes; the control of basic raw material; or similar circumstances, make the supplies and services available from only one source. TANA is a certified reseller of the makers of the GIS software and only a certified vendor has the depth of knowledge and working understanding of said software to provide support.
