Description

The intent of this contract is to provide for the routine brushing of forest service roads on the Snoqualmie and Skykomish Ranger Districts. The resulting contract will be a performance based, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract with a minimum guarantee of $30,000 with a maximum not to exceed of $60,000. Districts maps showing the road systems are available for purchase at the district offices. Skykomish Ranger District office is located at 74920 NE Stevens Pass Highway, Skykomish, WA 98288. Office phone is (360) 677-2414. Snoqualmie Ranger District has two offices. One is located at 42404 NE North Bend Way, North Bend, WA 98045. Office phone is (425) 888-1421. Second one is located at 450 Roosevelt Avenue East, Enumclaw, WA 98022. Office phone is (360) 825-6585. Roads to be brushed will be identified by work orders issued to the Contractor. These roads, at a minimum, are passable with a high clearance vehicle. Most work will be on aggregate surfaced roads and some roads may be paved. The Contactor shall start work, when directed, within three calendar days from the date work orders are issued. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 7th, 2008. The estimated start work date is on or about June 23, 2008. Contract work time is approx 90 days.
