Description
The Government has a requirement for a modification to the five-year, multi-year, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract W15P7T-06-C-M209 with Raytheon Company (Cage 96214) to increase the number of Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) Second Generation Forwar d Looking Infrared (SGF) Block 1 A-Kits/B-Kits, and optional A-Kits/B-Kits, spares and technical services (e.g., engineering services and depot repair) from 7,617 to 13,770. The overall contract ceiling will increase from $1.1 billion to $2.3 billion dolla rs. The period of performance will remain unchanged. This ceiling increase is necessary to replenish quantities used for the supplemental purchase of 1 A-Kits/B-Kits, and optional A-Kits/B-Kits, spares and technical services from the Global War on Terror. This Market Research is to locate sources that are capable of producing and meeting the production requirements of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) for integration into the Commanders Independent Viewer (CIV), the Improved Bradley Acquisition Sy stem (IBAS) systems, the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3). Additionally, this procurement is to meet the production requirements of the Abrams Tank for integration into the Commanders Independent Thermal Viewer (CITV) and the Thermal Imaging System (TIS). The HTI NV-80 B-Kit is incorporated into each of these sights or A-Kits. To be considered fully qualified a prospective supplier will need to meet the yearly delivery rates for production quantities. The first production year may r equire deliveries of 300 Block 1 A-Kits and B-Kits or higher combined per month starting in April of 2009.
