- Building 402 SCIF Renovation, KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, BERNALILLO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO. This acquisition is a total Service-Disabled Veteran set-aside. Only bids from qualified Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business concerns, qualified by the S mall Business Administration will be accepted. Bids received from concerns that are not certified by the SBA to participate in the Service-Disabled Veteran program shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. NAICS is 236220/SIC 1542, with a s ize standard of $31,000,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The bidders attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tou r of the site. Plans will be issued on or about April 4, 2008, with bids due on or about May 7, 2008. This solicitation will not be issued on paper. WORK CONSISTS of the renovation of the Research Development Test and Evaluation Support Complex (Building 4 02) at Kirtland Air Force Base. The exterior building envelope will not be affected by the renovation, but all existing interior spaces will change. All existing interior partitions and doors will be removed. The space will be effectively split into two separate SCIF areas, separated by STC-50 partitions. All other partitions will be STC-45. The project also consists of the installation of new HVAC, electrical, COMM and phone lines. This project will be advertised as an Invitation for Bid for Service- Disabled Veteran owned small business concerns only. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract.
