Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Imagenex Technology Corp, Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 1 EACH Expeditionary Multibeam Kit as set forth in the Salient Characteristics. Imagenex is the manufacturer and system integrator for the Expeditionary Multibeam Kit System (EMK). This system is designed to be compatible with existing multibeam sonar equipment and is only available through the manufacturer, Imagenex. The resulting purchase order will be firm, fixed price. The applicable NAICS is 334519 with a business size of 500 employees. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
