- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12,6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued with the intent to award on a Sole Source Bases. Request for Quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Government to acquire late one year maintenance service agreement covering RFID related equipment current in use. Scope: The Statement of Work is to purchase the required to maintain Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Systems Hardware Service Agreement for a period of one year. The already installed RFID is a key component of provide by WhereNet. These components include WhereLan Location Sensor (LOS), WherePoert Tag Activator, Visibility Server Software (VS) The Statement Of Work (SOW) covers services to be provided by WhereNet to National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency(NGA)that are required to support operation of the above listed equipment and software items. The proprietary source will in the event of failure to properly operate, provide the support necessary to address the failure and restore the system to a fully operational state. xxx.
