Description
U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates a Firm Fixed Priced, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for 59 each Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Generators P/N 28B508-1B. These items are for the MH-60M Aircraft with delivery to SOF-SA L3 Communications Bldg 195, 5749 Briar Hill Rd Lexington, KY 40156-9723, W80N5C. Inspection/ Acceptance: Origin. FOB: Destination. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.? The estimated minimum quantity is 11 each and the estimated maximum quantity is 59 each. The proposed action is for a commodity of which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Firms that feel they can provide this product are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). Required delivery by 1 September 2008. Early and partial delivery is desirable and acceptable. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposals are being accepted through mail, e-mail: aelder@tapo.eustis.army.mil and by fax: 757-878-0728. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is 3 April 2008. No telephone requests will be accepted. See Numbered Note(s): 22. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, will be utilized.
