- This is not a solicitation announcement and this notice does not constitute any commitment by the Government. The purpose of this market survey is being conducted to gain knowledge of potentially qualified small business sources and to determine if they can effectively compete for award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the Manufacture test and delivery f.o.b. destination, replacement bushings for G.E. Power Transformer rated at 115,000 Volts H V and 13,200 Volts L V . The MVA rated is in the 42 48 MVA range for West Point, GA. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Only Small Business firms should respond to this notice. The NAICS Code of 333613 applies the size standard for w hich is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual number of employees does not exceed 500. Interested firms shall reply to the following questions: 1. Provide evidence of successful manufacture and testing of power transformer bushings, in the size range indicated above, in the last 3 years. Provide a complete description along with the ratings and tests conducted. 2. References: Provide points of contact, including name and phone number, for the purchaser of the manufacturers bushings . Include the date of purchase and the type equipment in which the bushings were installed. Interested firms should submit document describing relevant experience in the following format: names of clients; location of job site; client point of contact an d telephone number; type of project, estimated value of project, and the date projects were performed. This documentation should be limited to descriptions of past and current contracts of the kind of work identified above. 3. The small business shall p rovide all warranty information associated with the manufactured equipment. It is not necessary to submit additional company information, resumes, sales material or brochures.
