- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, Florida (NSWC PCD) has exercised the following Option CLINS to BAE Systems of the United Kingdom under Contract Modification N61331-08-C-0012-P00001 on a sole source basis. This is considered sole source for the following reasons: The U.S. Navy has determined that the Archerfish will be the Common Neutralizer for mine countermeasure systems used to neutralize threat mines. BAE Systems, as the sole developer and original equipment manufacturer of the Archerfish, is the only source that can meet this requirement. Option CLINS exercised are as follows: CLIN 0011 ? Calibration and Maintenance -QTY: 1 Lot -Unit Price: $128,601.32 -Total: $128,601.32 CLIN 0012 ? Program Management and Support -QTY: 1 Lot -Unit Price: $959,816.09 -Total: $959,816.09 CLIN 0015 ? Destructor, Mine Neutralizer EX64 -QTY: 101/EA -Unit Price: $63,051.14 -Total: $6,368,165.14 CLIN 0016 ? Destructor, Exercise EX65 -QTY: 23/EA -Unit Price: $70,544.17 -Total: $1,622,515.91 CLIN 0017 ? Fiber Optic Spools -QTY: 165/EA -Unit Price: $2,407.46 -Total: $397,230.90 CLIN 0018 ? Neutralizer Interface Board -QTY: 7/EA -Unit Price: $ 20,524.64 -Total: $143,672.48 This also serves as notice that NSWC PCD may also exercise the following Option CLINS on a future date to BAE on a sole source basis for the reasons provided above. These Option CLINS are as follows: Option CLINS 0022 through 0028 for a total exercisable amount of $36,236,520.80. Options CLINS 0029 through 0035 for a total exercisable amount of $39,393,258.02. The Options consist of Common Neutralizers; neutralizer interface boards; support equipment and engineering services to be used with the AN/AQS-235 Airborne Mine Neutralization System and the Expendable Mine Neutralization System. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018.
