Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-08-T-0083 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 01 April 08. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-C9E. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 33312 and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million. Required Item and Descriptions are as follows. ITEM NO 0001 Qty: 9/each, Forklift. THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWA PREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. MAINTENANCE SERVICES WHCHI SHALL BE PROVIDED LOCALLY WILL BE RE QUIRED DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. The Government may make single award to the responsible offer(s) which is/are the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following web site http://www.neco.navy.mil and or http://www1.fbo.gov under solicitation M67400-08-T-0083. The solicitation also will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Upon the submission of the solicitation, it is required to attach the check list provided on the synopsis. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contractin g Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D. BUTLER, PSC 557 BOX 2000, FPO AP 96379 -2000.
