Description: Pull floor covering from soft area. Remove/cut out spongy decking. Determine and correct the cause of the problem. Inspect floor joist for saturation and damage. Flooring, under lament and plywood decking should be replaced throughout the second floor corridor and that intermediate 2 x 4 wood joists should be installed, resulting in joists at eight (8) inches on center. New plywood decking, 2 x 4 wood joists, carpet and resilient base should be provided. There are 28 door openings requiring new threshold / transition strips.
