- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Aviation Systems Standards, Flight Inspection Flight Programs Division, AJW-314, has an requirement for the upgrade/modification of FAA's Canadair 600 fleet's Flight Management System (FMS) and its support components. National Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511. Based upon the requiring offices' justification for single source acquisition; the FAA herein announces its intention to award a Purchase Order to Universal Avionics Systems Corporation for $243,075.00. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
