- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis only for proposed solicitation number: W9127S08B0014: This requirement is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSBC). The solicitation will be released on or about 9 April 2008 and posted to ASFI at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Search for solicitation number: W9172S08B0014. Requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) General Purpose Facility Main tenance Support Services contract for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Project Office located near Rogers, AR. Services to be provided will be both emergency services requiring a 2 hour response time including weekends and holidays and routine sched uled services. Required services will generally fall under but are not limited to the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Codes: 561210 (Facilities Support Services); 236220 (Recreational Building Handyman Repair), 238160 (Roofing), 561 990 (Other support Services) and 238910 (Equipment Rental/With Operator), 561730 (Sod laying services). A partial listing of required services include emergency and routine maintenance calls for General Carpentry to include landscape timbers, posts, door and screen replacement, roofing repair/replacement, and other carpentry repairs: Painting of park facilities; Electrical repairs to include fixture replacement, camper outlet replacement, and other general electrical repairs; Campsite repairs and maintenan ce to include replacing BBQ grills, concrete table repair or replacement, concrete pad replacement, parking stop replacement, replacement of park signs; Plumbing to include replacing water hydrants, underground pipes, and other general plumbing repairs; B uilding material delivery and placement including fill, screening material, stone, gravel, beach sand, boulders, top soil, and sod; Equipment Rental including operators for dumps trucks, dozers, tractors, backhoes, portable welders, vibratory equipment, ch ain saws, portable pumps and generators. The solicitation will include both the Davis Bacon Act and Service Contract Act Wage Determinations. The proposed contract is for a base period and 4 optional annual periods. To be acceptable, bidders must bid all line items and all option years. All interested certified SDVOSBC parties should review the solicitation and specifications when posted to determine interest and capability.
