FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Award will be made to the offeror's proposal that offers the best overall value to the government. Past performance, delivery and price will be considerations. Low price will not be a basis for award; however, price will be considered. Any questions or clarifications concerning the CLINs description and/or part number etc. must be submitted in writing to FedBid.com. Misinterpretation by vendor will not be an excuse for failure to deliver described product. Normally one truckload (i.e., 880 or 840 boxes) per week will be required to be delivered. Vendor must identify how many boxes (880 or 840) will be delivered per truckload. Deliveries will be scheduled as called for. The entire quantity of boxes shall not be delivered all at one time; rather deliveries will be staggered over a nine month period. All vendors bidding must have the resources to deliver within a 1-day period in the event of unscheduled needs (may or may not be a full truckload). Normally truckload deliveries will have a 3-day turn around from the time of notification. US Patent & Trademark Office warehouse hours of operation are 6:30am to 3:00pm, however for paper deliverers? trucks must arrive in the morning and before 12:00pm (NOON). No trucks will be accepted after 12:00pm (NOON). Please note on all partial deliveries the US Patent & Trademark Office will not pay additional charges. Vendors may be required to submit 1 box for Government sampling via FedEx in order to determine whether the paper meets their requirments.
