Description

The Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Construction Business to provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision to Replace the Roofs on Buildings 6, 17 and 18 at the Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC. All work shall be completed within 240 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection and clean-up. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 with a small business size standard of $13,000,000.00. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The specifications will be uploaded on/about April 9, 2008. A pre-bid/walk-through will be held April 23, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Bldg 21, Rm. BB-128. The bid opening will be on/about May 13, 2008. The deadline for receipt of questions is one week prior to the bid opening. Firms interested in bidding must request drawings in writing; no telephone requests will be received. The Contracting Officer's email address is jolette.morrison@va.gov. The bidder is responsible for the readability of faxed requests. Thirty-five sets of drawings are available and will be issued on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. Firms requesting drawings must be registered at Central Contractor Registry and, prior to award, at Vet Biz. The Online Representations and Certifications must be completed by each bidder prior to the bid opening. Government-wide numbered note 29 applies to this procurement.
