Description

An Industry/Pre-Solicitation conference is being held April 17, 2008 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the Bay Pines, Florida VAHCS. The laundry equipment the facility plans to purchase at this time includes but is not limited to: Item 1, (1 System) Cart Washer, Item 2, (1 System) Soiled Sorting System with Cart dumper. Item 3, (3 EA) 400/500 LB Gas Heated Drying and Conditioning Tumblers with Internal Lint Collection. Item 4, (3 EA) 120/125 LB Gas Heated Dryers. Item 5, (3 EA) 80/85 LB Washer Extractors. Item 6, (2 EA) Small Piece Folders. Item 7, (1 System) Central Vacuum System. Item 8, Refurbish/Relocate existing Monorail System to allow for sling loading of new dryers. Alternate 1, (1 EA) Embroidery Machine. Draft specifications will be available for review and comment. No "as build" drawings are available. Industry feedback is desired. The VA may award multiple contracts from any subsequent solicitation. The applicable NAICS code is 333312, and the size of the award will be between $500,000.00 and 1 million.
