- Description
- Gain knowledge of the future procurement business practices of our United States Air Force at the CONUS Installation level. The U.S. Air Force is in the process of Installation Acquisition Transformation (IAT) which is fundamentally transforming the current Installation Acquisition structure to enable strategic sourcing and effective use of Air Force resources. An invitation is extended to Industry partners operating in the area of Sheppard Air Force Base, TX to learn more about Installation Acquisition Transformation (IAT). Industry partners (i.e. contractors, suppliers, small business owners) are encouraged to attend a briefing and ask questions during the forum on 15 April 2008 from 1300 hours to 1430 hours at The Sheppard Club, building 340, and the address is The Sheppard Club, 320 G Avenue, Sheppard AFB, TX 76311. The current structure of the 82d Contracting Squadron will be changed, and a significant portion of the contracting workload will be moved to a regional contracting center.
