Description

NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION: The 680th Armament Systems Squadron, 680 ARSS/PK, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order for a total quantity of 180 universal extender assemblies, to include shipping costs to Eglin Air Force Base and two freight forwarders. The universal extender assemblies must be manufactured in accordance with Government drawings 200334009. The solicitation / RFQ will be a 100 percent set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336419, with a small business standard size of 1,000 employees. Expect the solicitation and drawings to be posted to this site on or about 10 April 2008. Hard copies of the solicitation and drawings will not be provided. Response time after posting is planned to be 15 days. The due date and further details of the requirement will be listed in the solicitation. All responsible sources, that meet the small business size standard, may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at https://www.bpn.gov prior to the anticipated award date. Award basis will be made on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
