Description

Capital District Contracting Center plans to award a sole source contract to DCU Center, Worcester, MA The estimated value of the proposed action is $514,396.00, which includes arena rental, staff, security and utilities, local labor, and concessions . DCU Center is located in Worcester, MA. The arena is a facility that possesses all of the technical accommodations and supports personnel to produce the caliber of presentation required by the US Army Military District of Washington for the Spirit of A merica (SOA) performances. The period of preparation and performance at DCU Center will be from 15 through 21 September 2008, inclusive. In accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1: Services for this requirement are for DoD a nd are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type supplies or service will satisfy mission requirements.
