Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation W91QF1-08-T-0047 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal A cquisition Circular 2005-24. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 722310 with a small business size standard of $19.5 million. This action will result in a FFP purchase order utilizing simplified c ommercial acquisition procedures un der Full and Open competition. Anticipated award date is April 4, 2008. The contractor shall provide healthy, appetizing , and nutritous meals onsite to approximately 425 JROTC Cadets and 75 Cadre attending the 7th Brigade Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Camp, located at Camp J. T. Robinson, N Little Rock, AK for the Period of Performance June 2, 2008 June 7, 2008 . This requirement is for the following line items: Line Item 1: Breakfast Meals: June 2-7, 2008 425 Cadet meals and 75 Cadre meals each day. Total of 3000 Breakfast Meals required. Line Item 2: Lunch Meals: June 1-7, 2008 425 Cadet meals and 75 Cadre meals each day. NOTE: One lunch meal = Meal, Ready to Eat (MRE) to be eaten during Survival/Land Navigation. Total of 3500 Lunch Meals required. Line Item 3: Dinner Meals: June 1 6, 2008 - 425 Cadet meals and 75 Cadre me als each day. Total of 3000 Dinner meals required. Breakfast choices shall include fresh fruit juice, lowfat chocolate and white milk, individual packaged dried cereal or individual packaged hot cereal, eggs, pancakes, breakfast meat, assorted brea ds, hash brown potatoes, biscuits with gravy, fresh or canned fruit, coffee, butter or margarine, syrup, jelly or jam, and condiments. Lunch & Dinner shall include an entr?e including a tossed salad, one vegetable at lunch and two vegetables at dinn er, accompanied by the appropriate side dishes or sauces, gravies, or salad dressings, lowfat chocolate and white milk, iced tea and coffee, condiments. Each meal shall be served with a choice of bread and butter or margarine, and dessert. Entrees shall vary in a manner not to repeat within a 3-day period. Additional information can be provided upon request. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation wi ll be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
