- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Government requires 57MM 3P (Pre-fragmented, Programmable Proximity) Fuzed Round MK 295 Mod 0 Cartridges, MK 8 MOD 0 Clips, and MK 806 MOD 0 Containers in accordance with Automated Data List 53711-5355836A. The delivery of 132 first article test units (unless waived) will be required 570 days after contract award. The delivery of the lot acceptance test units is due 90 days after acceptance of the first article test units. The Government has funding available for this procurement in the amount of $11,500,000, and will purchase the 132 first article test units (unless waived) and as many of the production units as the amount of funding permits. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with BAE Systems Land & Armaments Division L.P., Minneapolis, Minnesota in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. A safety and security survey will be required prior to contract awa! rd in order to comply with the requirements of DFARS 252.223-7002, 252.223-7003, & 252.223-7007. The Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, located at www.ccr.gov, as well as the Joint Certification Program, located at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. The productions units are to be delivered FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance of the production units will be at destination as well. The solicitation will be available on or about 24 April 2007 at the three websites listed above. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the three websites listed above, for no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
