Description
This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the Starter, Engine, Electrical, NSN 2920-01-501-5552, Mfg P/N MP-031, CAGE 0FHH9; P/N 96-9386, CAGE 62502. There are current sources for this item. Detailed technical data for the manufactur es or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing or repairing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: Ari Herman AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-PS, Building 2700, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023 or b y email to: ari.herman@us.army.mil. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, suppl y the Army with a unit from the previous supplier listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other informati on that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qua lification testing to ensure the parts meets the Militarys requirements. The cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
