- Description
- The Navy requires contractor support to design and develop an Electronic Security System (ESS) prototype to provide security monitoring both inside and outside the lifelines. The overall system entails four subsystems. These systems are: Detection, Audible Warning, Closed Circuit Television, and Access Control. This system will be installed as a prototype on one T-AO vessel and possibly a second prototype on a T-AK. The installation will occur on the east coast. The prototype, after installation, will be tested and evaluated for one (1) year. The ultimate requirement is approximately 80 government owned vessels.
