- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Region 9, White Mountain National Forest is requesting proposals in order to award a new contract for construction of Phase II of the new combined administrative site for the Supervisor's Office and the Pemigewasset Ranger District. This phase of construction will include the base items of Administrative Office Building (including mobilization and excavation), fire tank system, and final site work; and optional items of a prefabricated paint storage building, heated warehouse, parking site, roadway, sidewalks, landings and entries, landscaping, fencing and other site amenities. It is anticipated that a firm fixed contract will be issued for this work to the offeror providing the best value to the government. Proposals will be rated by the evaluation criteria listed in the RFP. A prebid/preproposal conference is planned for May 6, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. in Campton, NH, the address will be listed in the RFP. Proposals are due May 20, 2008 and submission information is listed in the RFP. The estimated construction range falls between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00, for the base items and all optional items. Work is anticipated to start in July 2008. This project falls under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is in the designated industry group for construction and designated as non-restrictive.
