Description
Provide all timber piles and concrete foundations. Install IR structures and flashers. Provide shelter platform and install shelter. Provide associated access roadway/parking, maintenance areas. Install shelter (GFM). Provide underground ducts, handholes pull boxes and transformer pad, per power company specifications. Demolition existing MALSR lights, support structures and foundation. Marine investigation to evaluate the structural integrity of the existing platform from station 8+05 to 24+00. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 237310 - Estimate Price Range between $600,000 and $800,000 To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website www.ccr.gov). This Notice is for informational purposes for minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by a socially and econ9omically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
