Description
GENERAL: The Department of Transportations "Maritime Administration" Division of Legislation has a need to renew the annual subscription services from the online version of the Congressional Quarterly (CQ) publication located at CQ.com., because it provides requisite information within the necessary time-frames, has a legislative tracking service, provides in-depth information on Congressional bills, conference reports, hearings, text of bills and status of legislation. It also provides in-depth coverage geared towards attorneys, focuses on issues related to the maritime industry, has "custom alerts" tailored to our needs and sends alerts on a daily basis. Interested persons should identify their interest and capability to perform these services to Mr. Ronald Parker at ronald.parker@dot.gov by 3:30 pm on Wednesday Tuesday, 16 April 2008.///////////// NONCOMPETITIVE CONTRACT ACTION: Restricted consideration is justified under the authority of FAR subpart 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement". ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
