- The following are vendor questions and the Government's responses: 1. QUESTION: What job classification does this solicitation fall under (Nursing Assistant I, Homemaker, etc.)? ANSWER: Nursing Assistant. 2. QUESTION: Why are there 4 nursing assistant classifications and does this solicitation fall under 1 or all? ANSWER: Certified Nursing Assistant I. 3. QUESTION: If it does fall under more than 1 classification, what percentage of the work falls under each classification? ANSWER: 100%. 4. QUESTION: Are nurse visits reimbursed? ANSWER: Nurse visits are included in the hourly rate. 5. QUESTION: Why is the wage higher for Homemaker than it is for all Nursing Assistants? ANSWER: Sandra Hamlett with the Department of Labor Wage Determination section at 202-693-0571 can advise you. 6. QUESTION: On page 38 of solicitation it lists $3.16 for fringe benefits, vacation and holiday pay as all being required benefits. Does fringe benefit not include holidays and vacation? ANSWER: Please see the answer to question 5 above. 7. QUESTION: Does fringe have to include health? ANSWER: Please see Modification 09. 8. QUESTION: Please itemize all things that fall under fringe benefits. ANSWER: Fringe benefits include 401(k), life insurance, health insurance, dental, etc. 9. QUESTION: Does the fringe benefit have to include health? ANSWER: Please see Modification 09. 10. QUESTION: When is this proposal due? ANSWER: March 28, 2008, 5 p.m. (local time). 11. QUESTION: Does the Federal Contracting company pursuing this contract need a license to provide service or just its contracted employees need to have license to provide the service needed? ANSWER: Modifications 5 and 9 answers this question. 12. QUESTION: Based on previous contracts how many hours were allotted for each level of Nurse Aide per county catchment area specifically for Durham, Person, Vance, Granville, and Wake counties? ANSWER: Modification 10 answers this question.
